 All throughout this great Country of ours, in big cities and in small country towns, people wake up on Sunday mornings and head to church. They go to connect to something bigger than them, to fellowship with friends and to find peace.

 I woke up on a Tuesday morning and went to church on a Hewescraft boat with Captain Art and a good friend. And out there on that boat, I connected to something bigger than me, fellowshipped with old friends and made a new one and reconnected with a calming peace that I at times struggle to find. 

Thank you for a great day on the water Captain Art!! And thank you for serving those who serve.... 

I recently had the incredible opportunity to go on a Lake Erie walleye excursion through the Cast It Forward organization, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Captain Art was top-notch, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about getting us on fish and making sure we had a great time. 

From start to finish, everything was well organized. The boat was clean and well-equipped, the gear was excellent, and Captain Art made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident out on the water. Thanks to his guidance, we had a three-man walleye limit by 10 AM! 

What really stood out was the heart behind it all. Cast It Forward isn’t just about fishing—it’s about giving people meaningful experiences, and this organization absolutely delivered. 

Huge thanks to the Cast It Forward team and especially to Captain Art for making this trip so memorable. I’m incredibly grateful and would recommend Cast It Forward to anyone who gets the chance to be involved. 

Wow, “Cast It Forward” provided my mom, very soon to be 86 yrs old, my daughter, my niece and me a wonderful experience together on Lake Erie today!

Captain Art had the boat in the water, snacks and even lunch on board, ready to share his love of being on the water. The sunrise was beautiful and the time we spent together fishing, laughing and learning was precious. 

“Cast It Forward” made it possible for our three generations to share a day that will not be forgotten and provided a caring, safe, environment for my mom to do one of her favorite things in life - fish! 

We felt secure, safe, and accomplished with each of us catching our walleye limit under the watchful eye of Captain Art. A beautiful day, great boat, wonderful captain and special memory for each of us.

Huge thanks to Captain Art and Peter for creating such a welcoming and exciting experience for our participants, as well as equipping each of our families with their own fishing pole and tackle box to keep on making more memories. 

The smiles, laughter, boat rides and proud catches made it a day to remember!

Our trip was a stress free and fun experience. I had fun and felt welcomed from start to finish. Everything was provided for us and Captain Art worked his tail off to make sure everything was easy and seamless. All non-alcoholic beverages and food were provided, and the boat was very clean and well maintained. We caught plenty of fish and had a blast. I would definitely participate again. 

Thank you to Captain Art for a great day of fishing and fellowship. I didn't know what to expect when I signed up to participate, and WOW it was more than I could have imagined. Captain Art is very safe and experienced, and he made the day very enjoyable - not to mention we caught fish! 

Our fishing trip was perfect. Captain Art was very professional and enjoyable to be around. The other two veteran participants who were along with me had a good time also. The Cast It Forward organization has their act together and I would recommend this experience. 

Thank you to Cast It Forward and Captain Art for the great hospitality, experience and conversation. I had a great time fishing on Lake Erie, the day was very relaxing, and the fish were really biting. 

If you get a chance to enjoy an outing with this organization, I recommend that you take it. Thank you for the day, Captain Art and Cast It Forward.

It was a great experience for younger children to learn about fishing and for everyone to spend time together and experience the joy of fishing.
